Installation Flow

• Mount switch enclosure to within 2-feet of utility meter enclosure
• Remove utility meter, install extender, replace utility meter
• Attach interconnect cable from enclosure to extender
• Connect 12VDC battery power from generator to control board

Automatic Models Programming Options

All units are shipped with factory default settings unless otherwise noted when ordering.

To modify default settings or adjust the internal time clock, a programming device must be used. Options for reprogramming the settings are:

• LG-ANZ3.4 Handheld analyzer connects directly to the GenConnect control board. No special requirements.
• ET-SOFT-GC Laptop/PC software with cable. Requires 9-pin serial connection to computer. Computer operating system must be capable of running a DOS program.
• ET-SOFT-GCP Software and Electro Industries' cable for PDA. Requires PDA with Palm OS 3.00 or greater, 9-pin serial connection to Electro Industries' cable, either directly or through a cradle.
